Assembleon – Opal-XII or Philips Topaz XII flying nozzle shows “Bring back component error”
Problem:
This has happened to our equipment in use in a customer’s factory. Head 4, Head 6, and Head 8 are all flying nozzles. The No. 6 head is not too stable, and it throws a little more material than other placement heads. It can still be used normally.
The problem is mainly on head 4 and head 8.
Elimination method (replacement of the model to detect the placement head): Occasionally before, “The error of the components brought back is displayed. After changing the model, it sometimes returns to normal use but sometimes it is an error.
Until now, no matter what model is replaced, the two heads (No. 4 and No. 8) directly show “Bringing back components error”, cleaning the nozzle and increasing the pressure can’t help, they are currently closed.
Solution:
Generally, this issue caused by the air path of the head. We need to re-measure the vacuum value. Check the blow and vacuum values for suction and placement. For detailed normal vacuum values, please refer to the maintenance manual of Assembleon – Opal-XII or Philips Topaz XII.
