2. Attach the tape reel to the tape holder of the Feeder setup stand and feed the tape into the Electric SMT label feeder.
3. Align the feeding holes of the carrier tape with the teeth of the sprocket wheel on the feeder.
4. Pass the cover tape through a slit and close the upper cover of the feeder.
5. Guide the cover tape through the upper side of the guide roller and the lower side of the tensioner roller.
6. Push the pull idler arm to insert the cover tape into the gap in the space of the gear.
7. Press and hold the switch button on the operation panel to rotate the pull gear and pull the cover tape. Stop the gear when the tension sensor turns on.
8. Push the button on the operating panel to feed the carrier tape into the Electric SMT feeder. Wait for the tape to reach the supply location.
Cut the end of the tape protruding from the tape ejecting slot (about 3mm or less) and attach the tape to the mounter. With these 9 steps, you can easily set up an Electric SMT feeder or a Mechanical feeder for your SMT assembly line, improving your production efficiency.
